WHAT IS LEAN SIX SIGMA?


Six Sigma is a systematic data-driven process improvement methodology that eliminates the defects from any process.Lean focuses on elimination non-value added activities and improves the flow. Lean Six Sigma combines the benefits of Lean and Six Sigma. Lean and Six Sigma are complementary in nature and, if performed properly, represent a long-term business initiative that can produce unprecedented results.

  1. LEAN SIX SIGMA YELLOW BELT: This program is recommended for Lower Level Management.
    • COURSE CONTENT: Why Industries need Continuous Improvement using Lean Six Sigma? History of Six Sigma, What is Six Sigma and its rationale? What is Lean Six Sigma? What is RDMAIC® and how to apply for problem solving?
    • LEARNING OUTCOMES: Upon successful completion of the program, the participants will get introduced to the concepts of Six Sigma and Lean and take small scale quality improvement projects implementing DMAIC methodology.

  2. LEAN SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT: This program is recommended for Managers, Asst. Managers, Team leaders.
    • COURSE CONTENT: Course content is structured under the framework of DMAIC and will take the participant extensively through all the process.
    • LEARNING OUTCOMES: Upon successful completion of the program, the participant will be capable of project selection and implementation, and also perform different styles of process and data analysis.

  3. LEAN SIX SIGMA BLACK BELT: This program is recommended for Top Management, Sr. Managers. Asst. VPs and Business Leaders.
    • COURSE CONTENT: introduction to Lean Six Sigma black belt, define phase, measure recap, screening of data, process capability, analyze phase, test of hypothesis, regression analysis, design of experiments, improve phase, control phase.
