Description:
Often fresh engineers are inducted into design departments with limited exposure to design and manufacturing background. The lead time for developing them is very long and often the mistakes committed by them cost heavily to the organization. PDDP is a training package which aims to train the young engineers to learn design concepts and manufacturing guidelines.
Learning outcome:
With PDDP, the Product Designers will be able to design the machine elements covered in this course with minimum inputs from the seniors, select suitable material, surface finish, heat treatment and tolerance and prepare the design documentation meeting the conventions & standards.
